Cleopatra’s life can put a soap opera to shame. She lost her throne, snuck into her own palace into Caesar’s room, and had a love child with Caesar while married to her brother. That’s just the beginning of her rein as queen of Egypt.

You all make spending four years alone in a room with a legal pad seem (almost) worthwhile. Thank you for engaging with CLEO as you have; you’ve found riches in the book I didn’t know where there. I wonder along with Eunice about Cleopatra leaving the kids behind. Then again all bets off when it comes to Cleopatra & maternity. One scholar suggested to me that she would have murdered her eldest son if doing so would have secured an alliance with Octavian!
Thanks for stopping by Stacy! We’re looking forward to your next book.
